About

We Made This Because We Needed It Too.

Brush & Wonder started with a simple feeling: the world is extraordinary, and our kids deserve to discover it with us.

Our Story

I didn’t set out to build a curriculum. I set out to solve a problem I had in my own home.

My kids were bright and curious and had access to everything. Every device, every app, every streaming service. And yet I kept watching them drift. Not just from learning, but from me.

I wanted to teach them. I genuinely did. But every time I sat down to plan something I felt completely out of my depth. When did I last think about the Renaissance? When had I drawn something just for the joy of it? I’d grown up in front of screens too. I’d forgotten more than I realised.

Brush & Wonder grew out of that feeling. The belief that parents and children can rediscover the world together, with nothing more than curiosity, a bit of guidance, and an afternoon to spare. The things that make us human – art, stories, history, cooking, nature – are not just nice extras. They are the beating heart of a well-rounded childhood.

We built this for families who want to try. That’s all it takes.

What We Believe

  • Children learn best when they make things with their hands
  • Parents are the most powerful teachers their children will ever have
  • You don’t need to be an expert to spark curiosity
  • The world is more interesting than any screen will ever be
  • A slow, curious afternoon spent together is never wasted time
  • Learning should grow with your family, and there is always something new to discover together

Come and learn with us.
